Windows 10 Enterprise
About this licence
Windows 10 Enterprise is the edition designed for medium and large organisations that require centralised device management, advanced security and flexible deployment across a fleet. It provides IT departments with controls to protect data, manage access and apply policies from a single console.
Enterprise unlocks features not available in Home or Pro editions, helping organisations reduce risk and simplify administration for many devices. The edition includes tools for application control, credential isolation, remote connectivity, browser and file isolation, branch caching and managed update scheduling.
- AppLocker — restricts which applications users can run using publisher, path or hash rules
- Credential Guard — isolates domain credentials with virtualisation-based security
- DirectAccess — provides seamless, always-on connectivity to corporate resources without manual VPN sessions
- Windows Defender Application Guard — opens untrusted sites and files in an isolated Hyper-V container
- BranchCache — caches content from remote servers at branch offices to reduce WAN bandwidth
- Windows Update for Business — lets IT defer and schedule feature updates
